Printing Guidelines and Design Tips

GATOR FLAP:  The Gator Flap is constructed with the same material as the cover, with strips of Velcro® on each side (Loops on the logo side and Hooks on the back side). The banner is sandwiched between the flap system that is sewn to the WeatherPORT cover. When the flap is folded over, it pinches the banner between the two Velcro® pieces, securely holding the banner in place even during heavy winds.

BANNER:  Banner substrate is ALWAYS white to allow for clean digital printing. If you desire your banner to match the unit's colored vinyl background, then a matching background color must also be printed onto the white banner. Velcro® is used to secure both the front and back of both the Gator Flap and the banner to provide a secure seal for the banner. Velcro® strips may be either white or black, with a choice of either 1" or 1.5" strip widths, depending on overall banner size.

GRAPHIC LAYOUT:  Always leave a MINIMUM 2.5" wide margin all around your logo/artwork in order to: 1) allow plenty of room for the Velcro® strip flaps, and 2) to bring good white space balance to your logo/artwork.
